Heated Floor Installation Process

1. Planning and Design
   • Assess the space and determine the best heating system
   • Create a detailed layout plan for optimal heat distribution
2. Subfloor Preparation
   • Ensure the subfloor is clean, level, and free of defects
   • Install insulation boards to improve energy efficiency
3. Heating System Installation
   • Lay out heating mats or cables according to the design plan
   • Secure the heating elements to the subfloor
   • Install temperature sensors at strategic locations
4. Electrical Connections
   • Connect the heating system to the power supply
   • Install and connect the thermostat for temperature control
5. Flooring Installation
   • Apply a layer of self-leveling compound to protect the heating elements
   • Install your chosen flooring material (tile, hardwood, etc.) over the heated system
6. Testing and Commissioning
   • Conduct thorough testing of the heating system
   • Calibrate the thermostat for optimal performance

Concrete Floor Installation Process

1. Site Preparation
   • Clear and level the area
   • Install a moisture barrier if necessary
2. Formwork and Reinforcement
   • Set up forms to define the concrete area
   • Install reinforcement mesh or rebar as required
3. Concrete Pouring
   • Mix and pour concrete to the desired thickness
   • Use vibration techniques to eliminate air pockets
4. Leveling and Finishing
   • Level the concrete surface using screeds and floats
   • Apply the desired finish (smooth, textured, stamped, etc.)
5. Curing
   • Allow concrete to cure properly, typically for 28 days
   • Maintain proper moisture levels during the curing process
6. Sealing and Polishing
   • Apply sealant to protect the concrete surface
   • Polish the floor if a high-gloss finish is desired

Combining Heated and Concrete Floors

For projects requiring both heated and concrete floors, we integrate the heating system into the concrete installation process:

1. Prepare the subbase and install insulation
2. Lay out the heating system on top of the insulation
3. Pour concrete over the heating elements
4. Finish and cure the concrete as usual
5. Install electrical connections and thermostat
6. Test and commission the heating system
